Last Saturday, The Tokong actually went for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officiate the re-opening of Teluk Bahang - Batu Ferringhi road which was closed one week ago due to a landslide.
After much finger pointing as to who is to blame, the Penang Govt then said this was a Federal Road. and hence Federal Govt should pay and repair this road.So, Works Minister Fadillah Yusof allocated RM700k of Federal funds immediately to fix the road.
A week later, the road was re-opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the DAP Tokong.
Setelah dibersihkan pada hari Ahad, hari Isnin begitu suey buatnya
