This investigation is related to the case where the Ministry of Finance had instructed Telekom Malaysia to award a RM214 million contract directly and without tender to Mukhriz's company
The letter from MOF, where Mahathir was the minister was dated one month before Mahathir retired as PM and MOF minister.
This helped Mukhriz's company's IPO to succeed and his shares surge a few hundred percent.
